Carbon Copy Laser supplies Canada with remanufactured toner and inkjet products. And we’ve done it for a long time! It all started back in 1995. Alanis Morissette released Jagged Little Pill, The New Jersey Devils won the Stanley Cup, gas was fifty-something cents per litre and we were getting our hands dirty remanufacturing toner cartridges, inkjets and printer ribbons in North Vancouver.

Over time, the toner industry evolved. Large companies with huge capital investments started remanufacturing toner cartridges on scale. We realized that our small mom-and-pop business could not compete with automation, robotics and what turned out to be a crazy reliable aftermarket toner product. Instead of rolling over and going out of business like many other small remanufacturers, we too evolved and started supplying these very products to our customers and continue to do so today.

Our online store does not offer cheap knockoff toner cartridges. We cannot and choose not to compete with the plethora of online merchants selling these products at ridiculously low prices. These low priced cartridges come with baggage such as spotty reliability, sub-par image quality and the infringement of intellectual property. Yes, many of these cartridges are illegal to sell and we want no part of it. Another very important consideration is that these cartridges are simply not environmentally sustainable as they cannot be reused and end up as waste in our landfills.

You may ask what toner cartridges and accounting software have in common. Not much actually. We sort of started selling MoneyWorks accounting software for Canadians by accident. Back in the day (before iPods), our Mac accounting software was bought out by a large accounting software company. They then killed off the product in favour of their own product which was not a good fit for us. We searched high and low for a replacement product and somehow stumbled upon a New Zealand company making accounting software. They offered a Canadian version which was the perfect product for us. MoneyWorks met more than all of our accounting requirements so we started selling MoneyWorks to other Canadians in the same predicament.

Printer Service and Repair

We offer printer service and repair to customers in the Metro Vancouver area. Additionally, we are able to supply our customers with replacement maintenance kits for their laser printers and multifunction machines. These maintenance kits can easily be replaced by the customer to save of labour.
