Welcome to our Free Empty Toner and Inkjet Recycle Program. Thank you for your interest in recycling your used office consumables. This service is available to our customers located in Canada only.
UPDATE: Generic or compatible toner cartridges will no longer be accepted. Please do not include these items with your shipments. Only OEM and remanufactured cartridges are accepted.
Recycle your empty cartridges for FREE
It is estimated that over 300 million empty ink and toner cartridges are thrown away every year. This equates to roughly 11 cartridges being thrown away every second. With our free and easy to use recycling program you can help make a change.
We offer our Canadian customers an environmentally friendly program to return empty cartridges and help keep them out of landfills. The cartridges collected provide a constant stream of empty cartridges that are then used to produce new high quality remanufactured cartridges.
To get started, simply complete the form below and we’ll take care of the rest. Our program is designed to ensure that every component is either remanufactured or recycled.

How can I reduce my environmental impact?
Empty toner and inkjet cartridges are an environmental strain to our planet. This strain can be eased by using remanufactured toner and ink cartridges. To remanufacture a toner or inkjet cartridge, you need to start with an empty cartridge core. Only an original (OEM) cartridge can reliably be rebuilt into a product that will perform as well as a new OEM. For every remanufactured cartridge produced, a cartridge is diverted from the landfill.
Generic or compatible toner and ink cartridges, cannot and should not be remanufactured. The materials used to produce these aftermarket cartridges are very cheap and only made to last one cycle. Sometimes these cartridges don’t even make through a single cycle, never mind multiple uses. The reason for the flimsy plastics and inferior metals boils down to price. The only way to manufacture an inexpensive, single use toner or inkjet cartridge, is to mass produce in Asia, to use inferior components and in some cases to violate patents and intellectual properties. You get what you pay for.
The world is shifting away from single use consumption. When we go grocery shopping, we use reusable bags. We use travel mugs at coffee shops. Plastic straws will soon be something of the past. The time has come to purchase remanufactured cartridges to be reused or recycled responsibly and to have a product that is actually reliable from the first to the last page.
