New Environmental Study shows that Clover Imaging remanufactured toner cartridges have a much lower environmental impact than OEM (original) cartridges
Aspire Sustainability has completed a comparative Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) study of a Clover Imaging remanufactured toner cartridge versus the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) cartridge. This study included both monochrome and colour toner cartridges.
Clover Imaging cartridges were found to exhibit lower environmental life cycle impact compared to OEM cartridges in all statistically significant impact categories that were studied. This Life Cycle Assessment study proves that remanufactured toner cartridges are a much wiser choice for businesses as well as the home user when it comes to lowering your carbon footprint.
As we can see, the remanufactured toner cartridge offers a significantly lower carbon and energy footprint. The cost to natural resources is also greatly reduced. The improved Human health data points could be the deciding factor for many of us to make the switch to remanufactured toner cartridges.
It is important to remember that these positive environmental factors only apply to remanufactured cartridges. Generic/compatible/clone cartridges have an even more detrimental impact on the environment than OEM cartridges and should be avoided.
